Luda came to House of James 1 Ukraine at just five years old after experiencing unimaginable trauma. Born with fetal alcohol syndrome, she also suffered from uncontrollable shaking in her hands because of the trauma she endured. After coming into our home, we witnessed what we believe was God’s healing in her life—the shaking stopped, the effects she had suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome improved dramatically, and Luda began to thrive. Today, she is a university graduate and lives and works in Switzerland.
